March 27 Update

Faith says she is scheduled for surgery on Friday, April 17. She will be the only one her surgeon is operating on that day. The date was picked also because her surgeon will be available that weekend. Keep tuned.

March 11 Update

Faith saw both her surgeon and her pulmonary doctors today in Portland. The pneumonia that was in both of her lungs has essentially cleared up. This should free her up to go ahead with her surgery. However, as we have found out, nothing is ever simple.

March 8 Update

Faith is still at home. She is housebound, but is feeling quite well thanks to Prednisone. According to her cardiologist, however, it is not a drug she can or should continue to use. On Wednesday, March 11, Jo will be taking her to Portland to see her surgeon and the pulmonary doctor. What happens next will depend a lot on what the pulmonary doctor says.
